To develop the next generation of real estate professionals by delivering hands-on, experiential education and creating direct pathways into meaningful careers within the industry.
Students are eager. Firms need talent. Universities want outcomes. Yet a structural gap between academia and the real estate industry leaves everyone short. Pillar is the bridge.
Pillar creates value for every node in the real estate education ecosystem — students, employers, and universities — all connected through one unified platform. We are the connecting link in a sector that has a great disconnect.
Ambitious students eager to break into real estate — but without access to structured, real-world education or industry connections.
Brokerages, developers, lenders, and firms seeking talent that contributes from day one — without the time and cost of a prolonged ramp-up.
Institutions seeking tangible career outcomes in a tightening job market — and a modern, experiential extension of their curriculum.
Selective, cohort-based. Live exposure inside the industry alongside active professionals.
1-on-1 pairing with a working broker, developer, lender, or attorney.
Hands-on underwriting, investment analysis, and due diligence on real transactions.
University-embedded chapters bringing industry speakers, workshops, and site tours to campus.
Free foundational curriculum — finance, credit, and building a portfolio from zero.
Real students reflecting on the program, and the people behind it.
Growing up around real estate, I came to Suffolk with a strong academic foundation as a Finance major with a Real Estate minor, but Pillar helped me see how everything actually comes together in the real world. It went beyond concepts: how deals work, how professionals think, what to expect on the path in. Because of Pillar, I feel far more confident discussing real estate and thinking about my next step. I'd recommend it to any student wanting to enter the industry prepared.
The structure of the course built a strong, practical understanding of the industry. It prepared me for real-world opportunities and pushed me to think more critically about real estate, from both an investment and operational perspective.
Partly because of this inspiration, I now have a very promising opportunity in real estate this summer, a real next step in my career.
My first real estate class, and an overall great experience. I learned so much real-world information that actually applies outside the classroom.
One of the best real estate courses I've taken. As a real estate minor, this has been the class I've learned the most from.
A pleasure to learn about real-world business, especially in a world where AI is replacing jobs. Real estate remains a promising path forward.
A great, interactive teacher. He made me want to actually engage in class, with real-world problems and real-world solutions. You could tell he knew exactly what he was talking about, and more importantly, that he cared about what he was teaching us.
He actually steps up and teaches, doesn't just hand out a packet or a slide show. He connects with his students. Relatable, charming, charismatic. I was intimidated at first, but settled in nicely because of him.
I came in with zero real estate background. He delivered the perfect intro, through an entrepreneurial lens, and made me feel like I belonged.
Absolutely incredible. He treats us as equals, and it's a class I've actually learned in compared to others. You can tell he wants his students to succeed, even using his own mistakes as teaching moments. Real-life examples, real-world projects. The way every class should be.
Every dollar creates a direct pathway for a student into the real estate industry.
